To me, the hairbrush is both feminine and nurturing. Sure, it hurts like Hell, but a spanking should. The nice part about it is that it travels well, but is very at home in the bedroom. It is intimate, but a spanking between people who care about each other should be. A hairbrush provides the best target precision, and lets one color the cheeks, and slightly below for sitting discomfort purposes, quite well.
